Richard Klein

Richard Klein is an accomplished real estate executive with over two decades of experience in the design, marketing, and sale of prestigious residential developments worldwide. His career spans key markets including London, Dubai, Sydney, Vancouver, and Melbourne.

Currently, Richard is serving as the Director of Sales for ACT at the newly opened Waldorf Astoria Punta Cacique in Costa Rica, where he leads a sales team representing the resort’s Branded Residences of 21 ultra-luxury estate homes and 76 condominiums. Prior to this role, he was the Director of Sales at Marcon Developments in Vancouver, Canada, overseeing a $2.5 billion residential portfolio and spearheading successful marketing campaigns for high-rise projects such as Tricity Central.

Richard's expertise extends to his tenure as VP of Sales with KEY Marketing in Vancouver, where he managed residential developments and launched marketing campaigns under challenging market conditions. As a Portfolio Partner at MLA Canada, he was instrumental in launching high-profile projects, including the Smith & Farrow Tower.

In London, Richard held the position of Head of Residential at LABS, directing a $200 million project in Camden. His earlier career includes significant roles at Knight Frank in Sydney and Melbourne, where he led luxury residential divisions and consulted on projects like One Barangaroo and One Queensbridge.

Richard's global experience is further highlighted by his work with Emaar in Dubai and Nakheel, contributing to landmark projects like the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Waterfront. His foundation in development consultancy was built at Savills in London, where he advised on major projects such as the Olympic Village.

Throughout his career, Richard has been involved in notable projects such as One Hyde Park in London, One Barangaroo in Sydney, and Tricity Central in Vancouver, showcasing his capacity to manage complex developments and cultivate successful sales strategies.

Richard’s educational background includes a Master’s in Property, Valuation and Law from CASS Business School and a Real Estate course from UBC Sauder School of Business. Richard's personal interests include running ultra-marathons and exploring diverse cultures through travel and cuisine.
