Planning to spend the day at the beach? Stinson Beach and Stinson State Beach extend for an impressive 3.5 miles. At various points, you can find public beach access, restrooms, and public parking. Once on the beach, you can take a walk, sunbathe, surf, or participate in many other watersports.

Away from the beach, you’ll encounter even more to do in and around Stinson Beach. On Belvedere Avenue, you can begin the Matt Davis Trail. This 7.4-mile trail connects to the Coastal Trail and leads you to Table Rock, the Pantoll Campground, and several other scenic spots. You can also take the Dipsea Trail, which takes hikers on a 9.7-mile journey.
